Navigating the Tannery District
By Car From Toronto …
Follow Highway 401 Westbound to Exit #278. The sign reads Hwy 8 West Kitchener-Waterloo. Continue on Highway 8 until you reach a fly-over. You will see exits for Highway 7/8 or Highway 85. Do not take these exits, but continue straight on Hwy 8 West, which turns into King Street, Kitchener’s main street.
From London/Windsor …
Follow Highway 401 Eastbound to Exit #278B. The sign reads Hwy 8 West Kitchener-Waterloo. Continue on Highway 8 until you reach a fly-over. You will see exits for Highway 7/8 or Highway 85. Do not take these exits, but continue straight on Hwy 8 West, which turns into King Street, Kitchener’s main street.
Walking From The Bus Station …
Go west from the station (left along Charles Street) three blocks and the Tannery will be on your left.
Walking From The Train Station …
Go south from the station along Victoria four blocks and turn left on Charles Street. Once you are on Charles, the Tannery will be on your right.
- Enter through the public entrance beside the Pharmasave (you will see the building directory on the wall in front of you).
- Take the stairwell entrance on your right up one flight of stairs to the second floor.
- You will see the MFX office door sign as soon as you exit onto the second floor.
- Come in and say “Hi!” We love visitors!
Once you’re here …
The quickest way to the Machteld Faas Xander office space is through the entrance on Charles Street.
