The Machteld Faas Xander Community Design Group helps to identify and solve social, economic, and political problems, as they relate to human environments.

Our Community Design method helps to focus and guide the creation and maintenance of positive, people-focused spaces—such as neighborhoods, communities, recreational spaces, cities and regions—by engaging the participation of everyone affected, at all levels.

MFX’s co-design approach not only establishes engagement and interest with community residents—it also advocates partnerships that will, in essence, drive best strategies for improving the community.

Economic Development Strategy

Involve talent attraction, community vision and development projects, and people-focused action plans.

Tourism Strategy

Include general positioning, vision for visitors, as well as tourism product strategy development, asset assessment, etc.
